Fight the Frack.

In case you haven’t heard, XTO, a subsidiary of Exxon Mobil, has plans to withdraw .25 million gallons of water a day from the Oquaga Creek in Broome County, NY, to use for hydrofracking. Oquaga Creek is a tributary of the Delaware River, which supplies 15 million people with drinking water. More info here. We want Governor Cuomo to vote against this destructive action. 

What can you do? Immediate phone bank! 

1. Make sure it is Monday from 9 - 5. If you can’t make Monday, call Tuesday.

2. Call (518) 474-8390. Say “I urge Governor Cuomo to vote against XTO’s water withdrawal at Wednesday’s 
Delaware River Basin Commission meeting” Give your name and zip code.
