"The Mountain View School District leased 96 acres of its land to Cabot in 2009 for $5,750 an acre, or more than $500,000. Cabot is limited to subsurface activities on school property from a well pad on an adjacent site and the district will receive 20 percent in royalties from the agreement. Zick will receive 12 percent in royalties from the operation."
