Over 70 "environmental groups and some legislators are asking Gov. Andrew Cuomo for a longer public review of a New York State plan to permit a controversial method of natural gas extraction that combines hydraulic fracturing with horizontal drilling." Theyare hoping to extend the public comment period to six months as opposed to two.
