  1. If you are a California resident please sign my,Save our water from Fracking, petition and urge your friends to do the same.

California is the fourth largest oil producing state in the country. The oil industry is touting the potential of fracking in California to tap the largest oil shale formation in the continental United States, containing 64% of the nation's deep-rock oil deposits. Fracking has occurred on public lands and in highly populated areas in California without public knowledge. Halliburton is behind the stalling of this bill. Halliburton is the pioneer of hydrochloric frackturing. Former Vice-President and major stock holder of Halliburton, Dick Cheney, was responsible for excluding fracking from the safe drinking water act in the first place. Governor Brown fired two top regulators last year for trying to delay permitting for fracking. So as you can see, if we don't act now, California could become a Contaminated wasteland.

I have emailed the sponsors of this bill and governor Brown to move forward with AB 591.

Please take the time to urge your friends and family to sign this petition.
