For those of you who live in Westchester...

Senator Greg Ball (R, C - Patterson) is hosting this hearing to discuss the risks and benefits of hydraulic fracturing in New York. Also known as hydrofracking, this is the process of pumping water, sand and chemicals undergroung, and into rocks, to release and capture gas for future energy use.
Senator Ball will solicit testimony from industry experts to determine public policies that need to be created to protect the health and welfare of the public and the environment as it relates to hydrofracking.
